Sooo...
My birthday went really well. I got incredibly drunk and the bands were great and I had yummy cake and all that shizz.
And now I am back in Boston for the year- ugh, Brandeis.
[[It wouldn't be so bad, but everyone I'm friends with graduated last year, so my social scene is pretty empty up here...]]
So hey, if anyone knows of anything awesome going down in the area, pleasepleaseplease let me know.
I'm also a little irked because I must be allergic to something in or around my dorm, since I've felt a little sick for the past two weeks since I've been up here =(
On the other hand though, I'm really excited because I signed up for a clothing construction course at MassArt, so hopefully now the clothes I make won't suck quite as much! W007.
EDIT:
I figured I should also mention that last weekend I was in NYC protesting the NYPD's discriminant sound level enforcement at cracktoberfest this year. Stza threw some donuts in the general vicinity of the cops and they arrested him, and then there was a riot, and then my friend smashed some windows, and then we ran away...
But I guess what I'm saying is, the way the NYPD treats the community is appalling and y'all should go get yourselves informed and, if you're able to, support them all you can. You can check out info/video on Team Spider's blog: http://www.teamspider.blogspot.com/
[[Also, the NYPD had tasers, which they aren't supposed to have.]]
