i have a friend who lost the ability to move half her body from some nerve cells that died in her neck. the doctors put into her a battery, a transponder, and a reciever, to bridge the neuron gap caused by the dead cells. she has no feeling on that side of her body, but she walks around just like everyone else and you'd never know she had any problem. so even tho things are scary now, its amazing what can be done with modern medicine.

Just stopped by to say hi and read the post. I hope she is doing better, thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

thats the one thing i dont miss about college...really fucking expensive books that most of the time you dont really need...
