I've been in that situation once before (while I was deployed overseas last time, a GI started flopping around/convulsing; I can't remember if it was a heat stroke or a cardiac arrest), and 99% of the time all you can do is keep cool, keep the others relatively cool, and call the folks that know what to do. You did all three, and win a prize.

You can those stylish running shorts you mentioned at any fine sports store. I myself endorse the MJ Sofee "shiny black" model. I don't necessarily consider myself much to look at, but with those on, I usually get a few "playfull" ass-slaps from my female colleagues during kegger/volleyball events.

you can get them at tower records at 2402 guadalupe. there are quite a few of them. they are $20.99, cuz they're imports, but that's a pretty fair price. hey, if you haven't made your hotel reservations yet, you might try the austin motel. it's a cool little motel that's in town, and cheaper than motel 6. i highly recommend it. i'm not sure of any shows going on just yet, but i'll let you know. if i don't see you out, have a great time!
