Just like honey
It's 6:48am and I keep checking my town council's webcam to see whether it's worth getting out of bed or not. The temperature is currently 3C, so I'm leaning towards no.
I have no reason to get up, as I have a week of holidays from my delightful Communication Studies degree. Which means I should catch up on reading my entire course load from the last six weeks. I'm beyond being worried about that, and I believe I'm in what Elizabeth Kubler-Ross calls the "Acceptance Stage." I'm sure everyone's a little sad that Kubler-Ross is dead, but she was always a little dead wrong.
I could play some guitar, write some songs, do something creative, but I'm still quite tired. This could be because I cam home from doing my show, read The Dalai Lama's The Art of Happiness for a while, decided I wasn't ready to sleep and have been sitting up surfing the net in bed since then. I guess that was about five hourse ago.
The best thing to do when I haven't slept, I find, is to read Mac anecdotes on Folklore.org. Those crazy computer-making geeks; I wish I were more like you.
I figure I might as well sleep the morning away, though. It's not very rock & roll to get up before midday, and I have to go and drink and dine with friends later tonight. So I'll rest. Business after slumber, I say.
