The world is full of crashing bores
And I'm one of them. I must be.
So as to finally get some practical use out of my new computing machine I organised my life in iCal. All my things are laid out for me and colour-coded, so I'll always know what's on and when.
Then because I felt too damn organised, I downloaded a SNES emulator and will soon start playing Chrono Trigger. It just feels right.
A brief list of me for those who may be interested:
* We played a gig last night at Re:Fuel. It was late, the audience had thinned out a little and we were more frantic than in the groove. Weirdest thing ever: we could hear people singing along.
* Radio 1 is a nice place. I have my Indie show, I seem to be filling in for people who can't do their shows. It's working out well. Plus having access to a butt load of music is great.
* I've started writing for Critic again. I've done one review, and will be doing various stuff over the next few months;
* Including reviewing the Batrider gig this Saturday at the Crown. Batrider rule.
* Finally I've hooked myself into a Communication Studies degree. The Head of Department was a little dubious given my track record at Otago, but when I told him about the stuff I do and what interests me he started talking postgraduate studies. Go figure.
