I attended summer school earlier this year, and just my luck I got sick the day before my exam. I had to arrange a special exam, and just my luck the special super-lecturer for the course, Paul Voninski, was back in New York, and I had to wait until the Antrhopology Dept. contacted him and had him write me this exam.
They've finally done it, and so has he, so some time this week I'll be sitting my exam for ANTH207: Death and Dying. I guess this post is a salute to the paper, and my studying I'm about to do.
Right after I go see some bands tonight. And go to a party tomorrow night. And watch the X Files. And have two different band practices.
Why, it just never ends.
NB: the above picture is not of Paul Voninski. It's of a man named John Voninski. I don't know if they're related, but I couldn't find a picture of Paul, and John looked like a nice chap. He works for the NYS Unified Court System (Fifth Judicial District). He was once quoted as saying "We don't have enough court reporters to cover all the courts and we're under a hiring freeze now, so I cannot fill vacant positions."
I need a new hat.
