I thought I was good at bowling. It'd been nearly a year since I'd last been, and yet last week I won. It wasn't a great score, in fact it was decidedly average, but I won.

Today my score was decidedly averager. I didn't think it was possible. Oh woe is me, am I to be a poor bowler? I guess I'll just have to go every Sunday and get better, but I want to be good now.

Maybe I should stop overthinking this and just let bowling be fun and non-competitive. But that doesn't seem very Me.
