Howdy! I just had a weekend. Play a show for about 200 pot smokers on Friday. It was organised by a group called NORML, and there were dreadlocks in the hiz-ouse. The place smelled terrible. Pot's great, but I love oxygen.
I finished the evening sitting on a couch talking to a friend for 3 1/2 hours without getting up. We rule.
Saturday I saw Arch Hill Records bands Pine and Fang. I have to say Fang are the best band I've seen this year. It made me feel guilty for not being that good.
I talked to them afterwards and they wanted to know why no one had showed up (there were 12 people in the audience). I had no idea, but I steered the conversation to how much I enjoyed the show and they seemed happy. Both bands are keen to see us play when we head up north.
I wrote four songs today. I've decided to write any lyrics down and finish a song every time I come up with something instead of trying to remember lyrics when I have some music and nothing to sing. I have to do this, or else I'll be officially unemployed and lazy.
More importantly I'm now parting my hair a different way.
Yep.

He was too hungover to come, but most importantly he was too many suburbs and no car to come.
