I have now seen all 10 of the films up for Best Picture at the Oscars this year and I am officially undecided as to which one I am rooting for. I loved them all (with the exception of 'The Kids Are All Right', which I found to be mediocre, at best. That one doesn't belong in the company of the others, in my opinion).
My pick for Best Actor is Colin Firth in The Kings Speech (with a close second from James Franco for 127 Hours. Jeff Bridges was probably a personal favorite for me, but he was just being Jeff Bridges, so.)
For Actor in a Supporting Role, my vote goes to Christian Bale in The Fighter. Hes a hot mess, but I love him.
For Actress, I pick Hailee Steinfeld in True Grit, even though the Academy snubbed her by sticking her in the Supporting Actress category. Screw them. (If I HAVE to pick from their choices, Id say Natalie Protman, for Black Swan)
For Actress in a Supporting Role, Hailee Steinfeld, all the way. (I stand by my argument that she deserved the Best Actress nomination, however. She didnt support anyone in that movie. She was the star. Stupid Academy).
Best Director is also a tough one for me. I want to say Joel & Ethan Coen (because I love every one of their films and True Grit was immensely entertaining), but Im going to go with a toss-up between Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan) or Christopher Nolan (Inception). The style and originality of their films blew me away.

Nice choices. Don't really have any picks, but I'm of the school of "doesn't see the point of 10 best picture nominees". Seems silly and a tad self indulgent. Just like the real Hollywood,
