Oh WTF!

So my car basically is dead, I took it to a place that is very very reputable and they were fixed the heater hose, but after starting it up they found that it was running really rough. They called and asked if they could check it out and of course I said yeah go for it. Then I get a call today saying that my engine block is cracked and it will cost 2500 to fix it. So now I have to see if my boss is fine with me not having a car and see what else can I do. Not my week.
