So I have been in my place now for about 2-3 weeks, I love it. I like the fact that I can wake up, not worry about anybody else's bs. The rent is solely my respondsibility which is good because the last situation made question alot of things.
Being in K-town is pretty nice, I am in a very quiet area actually, The building was built in the 20's it's was an extended stay motel and it's now my home. I have a huge kitchen that I love using, still need to buy a lot of stuff but I am managing well.
I am currently working on breaking away from the job I have right now because it has made me more and more antisocial because I have to console people about financial issues and that is never a good situation in this economy.
I have been looking at working at a couple different companies in the local area. I would love to work in an advertising company or something creative. I have been editing for about 4 years now and I am learning new things with every project, recently I received my 4th IMDB credit and I'm happy so far with the product.
In January, I will (hopefully) be starting my own podcast and company. I would love to interview some people and network, it's always nice to meet new people. A free podcast, to talk about anything...Mostly I would like to focus on hopes and dreams. It sounds kinda of cliche, but honestly these are tough times and it was the hopes and dreams of few that blossomed into the futures of many.
Lately I have been able to acquire a couple different films and I must say that I am pleased.
-Beautiful Losers
-Revolution OS
-Social Network
-Scott Pilgrim (great film! Knives Chau! Awesome!)
- I got a copy of all 5 seasons of the Xmen Animated Series that was on Fox in the early 90's. It was a flashback to my childhood.
So I need ideas for my apartment, I have to do something with this place so it doesn't look like a bachelor pad. I think the only thing that I have hanging in the apartment is myBob poster. I haven't really spent that much time since I have moved in. Tonight I just can't sleep and I decided that I needed to take tomorrow off so instead of sleeping...I am blogging, craigslisting, emailing, editing, doing an excel spreadsheet, learning more about after effects, GEEKING OUT, learning about linux, Reading, writing.
so yeah I keep myself busy.
A friend of mine suggested this dating site and to be honest...it's kinda scary, some of the questions are kinda intrusive. I like to think of myself as an open book but really doesn't this take away from actually getting to know someone?
Going through LA411 looking at companies is is fun, you get to see what they have done and you kinda think, I could do that right?
a pic that made me happy the other day

I found online, I want to make it a t-shirt saying "Kicked Outta (Mensa logo)"
Kinda like when you see someone with a FLYNNS shirt, you get it.
A friend of mine sent me a .pdf collection this week that includes all the uncanny x-men comics from the beginning to the year 2005. LOVE IT!
So anyway this has probably been a bunch of ramblins, but I feel better cause I vented.
