Yes, that is what I meant about the plastic. That's why I showed those photos instead of good things plastic is used for. Not only is it not being recycled as much as it could be, I think it is often used when it doesn't need to be. Thankfully many states and/or companies are getting on the no plastic bag train, but there is still so much packaging and junk that is not needed. If I do have to buy things in plastic containers, like sour cream or something, I try to reuse the container for food storage or potted plants as much as I can.
