The Silence fell ominously over the warriors. Every man fell instantly neutral at the same moment, and laid down their arms. Soldiers looked at soldiers, and Generals at their men. Every one of them was filled with confusion, that was, at the same time: peace. Not the brand of peace that makes soldiers and warriors obsolete, but a deep, individual peace buried deep within the heart and soul of every man, taking a different shape within each of them. The only battle left was the decision of what to do. Should these men resolve their conflict somehow, or go home knowing that the battle can never be won. They looked around as if waiting for the answer to come to them.
