Excited to go out holiday shopping today- err wait. Ok not really, I do enjoy a little bit of the hustle and bustle this time of year but not when people are raging lunatics. So happy to be out of the hospitality and retail industries, this time of year was the worst. Hungry people are angry! I quit all that about a year ago and 3 jobs later [3 months of unemployment] I've found something I'm comfortable at, even if it does have it's downsides and irritating quirks- I'm still grateful for it. Had to arrange our holiday party for last week and it was pretty nice- alcohol makes dealing with coworkers easier ![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)

The past 1.5 weeks I've been a slave to my paladin. Did some raiding last week and perhaps will squeeze some in tonight. MMMMMM EPICS! I hate having new expansion ugly gear after having pretty things for so long haha. ~OH YEAH also, I miss my legendary!~ My tank set looks like level 30 greens. QQ! We don't start officially doing 25's until the 27th but I have family in town that week so I might be a little behind. Excited either way. I've seen 5 raid bosses so far and like the content fairly well.
Here's some screenies:

AHHH must edit. So I finished Stephen King's latest book which is comprised of 4 short stories. I read three of them weeks ago and finally last night sat down and read the last. More than ever love his story telling.
Time to quote his afterword:
"I have little patience with writers who don't take the job seriously, and none at all with those who see the art of story-fiction as essentially worn out. It's not worn out, and it's not a literary game. It's one of the vital ways in which we try to make sense of our lives, and the often terrible world we see around us. Stories suggest that sometimes- not always, but sometimes- there's a reason.
I have no quarrel with literary fiction, which usually concerns itself with extraordinary people in ordinary situations, but as both a reader and a writer, I'm much more interested by ordinary people in extraordinary situations. I want to provoke an emotional, even visceral, reaction in my readers.
... when it comes to fiction, the writer's only responsibility is to look for the truth inside his own heart. It won't always be the reader's truth, or the critic's truth, but as long as it's the writer's truth... all is well. For writers who knowingly lie, for those who substitute unbelievable human behavior for the way people really act, I have nothing but contempt. Bad writing is more than a matter of shit syntax and faulty observation: bad writing usually arises from a stubborn refusal to tell stories about what people actually do- to face the fact, let us say, that murderers sometimes help old ladies cross the street."
