True enough, I get the patients are ultimately responsible for the own well being. Drug addiction is drug addiction I'm not convinced it matters weather its a pill from a legal script or some thing illegal like marijuana either way your paying for something to pass the time usually to cover up a spiritual emptiness that only "fixes" it on occasion.
