My July 4th, by FuzzyDice
So I love living on Queen Anne. 3 blocks and I get an unobstructed view of the Lake Union display. My baby managed to stay awake for the first ten minutes of the show. She was trying soooo hard to stay awake. It was adorable.
Meanwhile... Behind us this lady (what is that in your thermos, and why do you have 5 day old drunk smell on you?) was a master of the obvious. She kept the commentary on the fireworks the entire time.
"Wow! There goes a BIG ONE! KUDOS! What a great job! KUDOS! There goes some SMILEY FACES! Wow, SQUARES! Ooh, that one is going REALLY HIGH...! WOwwwwW!!!"
Thank god we weren't in a movie. I'd be fighting.
Otherwise, I had a GREAT WEEKEND!

Yeah I'm fine thank you. If I was still living in East London I might have got caught up in it but I moved to the other side of the city 2 years ago and things are largely unaffected here even though I'm only a couple of miles away.
