Haha looks like you had a whale of a time!! I am told that everyone should experience Oktoberfest at least once in their lifetimes.
Crappy one liner just to reset the blog comment count to zero as I'm getting sick of seeing the same number everytime I log in

About a week ago I was finishing up at work, and realised that by the following weekend I would have only have had one day off in 17 days. So a quick internet search later and I booked a weekend in Barcelona (Spain).
I have never been to Barcelona before and didn't know much about the place. Having been, I have to say that it...

Wow that architecture is awesome.
Hah I never pegged Barcelona as somewhere that would have a prozzie "problem". Shows how little I know lol.
Still looks like a great trip! I met some really cool Spanish girls when I was in the UK. Really nice people
Gives me lots of reasons for a visit I guess

It was cool....but as someone who used to hang out in Hillbrow and Yeoville back in the day, even I was a bit surprised by the "prozzie problem" .....and it did mean I got to meet some cool German girls (and their seriously drunk male friend) that I shared the emergency taxi with
So easy to get around, with so many cool places to see and people to meet, definitely worth a visit - go for it

I was out last night, sampling some very fine Belgian beers and maybe a rum or two, and with that I was discussing with some friends that it seemed so few people in our age group had settled down. Very few people live where they grew up, or have put down "roots" in any one place. A lot of us seem to float around the...

Ah I can imagine that I'd miss a lot of things just as much if I didn't live here.
I'd love to visit Scotland one day and just look all over at the architecture
Thank you for your well wishes

Wow, a blog at my age! here goes;
Well, too old for the self centred, self indulgent type of ramblings that I usually see on these things. I have lived, loved and lost in the 36 years I have spent on planet earth. I have gone from being homeless to travelling the world and living in an overpriced apartment. I have slept in tents, doorways...

That's awesome that you have travelled so much and experienced such a variety of places and lifestyles. Which is your favourite place? Have you decided that the Netherlands is the place to stay or do you think you will move on again?

I read it And you'd be surprised at how many people do (comments or none). You should blog more often, sounds like you can be quite inspiring.
