2pm. get back from this "job" and I check craigslist. a provider hooker wants photos. Its a TFP situation. I email her
5:30pm she mails me back and we correspond for a while. She wants me to come out ASAP. She lives in Oakland.
6:00pm everything is finalized and I pack up all my photo shit, lights, props, backdrops etc and get into my car
6:15 on the road
7:00 arrive at her place.
This ... umm, woman asks me how i get the images to her. I tell her that I edit them and send them to her. She doesn't like this and wanted the images immediately on her compuer. I informed her that she didn't communicate that to me in our correspondence, and if she had, I would have been able to comply.
She doesn't trust that I would give her images to her. I inform her that I have worked with many models and had ZERO problems transmitting images.
She said she doesn't need edited images because she knows how to do stuff with her computer. Then she tells me that she doesn't know how to save pictures from email (or save them on disk for that matter). Her computer crashed and she needed images for tonight.
I gather my shit and bounce.
Thank you for wasting a good 1.5 hour of my life.
Moral: From here on out, provider photos are compensated shoots. Compensated at the high end of my rate scale. You charge 200 an hour for anal. I charge 100 an hour. You'll make that back in 15 minutes if he can't control himself.
She was cute and all, but that was rude and really unappreciative. You aren't really doing me any favors by letting me have glamour provider images in my portfolio. lessons learned
in other news, she keeps posting her ad over and over looking for a photographer

Had I shot her, I would have been done and emailed her pictures by now. Oh well, silly girl

both of them involve me making girls lay in dirt and get dirty. yes! One of them is even paying me for this priveledge.
The first shoot flaked out. I'm sure someone underbid me. She signed up on one of the modeling sites I'm on and I'm fighting the urge to expose her as a flake blah. Its about respect. I'm a temporary employee right now, and there was the strong possibility that I might have had to work today. And i would have turned it down because I thought I had a paying job. respect.
One day I'm going to praise a model verbally. I never do that. I usually just post the pictures, "a picture is worth a thousand words"
Hell, of all the models I've actually shot with, only a few I wouldn't work with again. I think 4 were bad out of 20+.
The models I like will always get asked for more work. And I guess that is the best recommendation I give

anyway, thanks for the feedback - i was very comfortable and felt good about it, but as far as overall quality, lighting, poses (he directed me b/c it was for a specific project) and such i wasn't sure - i am fairly new at all this.
