I wish that we could give grades to our professors. The current system of advisor evaluation is inadequate.
My advisor gave me an "I - incomplete" for my independant study. I'm not saying I didn't deserve it, because the rules of the Independant study say that I'm supposed to meet with the advisor like 3-4 times during the year for the project. I didn't meet with mine at all. I didn't need his help. I did more work than was required. But fuck it, it doesn't affect my grade.
My beef is that this guy is NEVER in his office during his office hours, so even if I did try to come and see him, he wouldn't have been there. At the very least, you should be on campus so your students should see you. Office hours mean that you are available to your students during a prescribed time.
To top it off, it is nearly impossible to make appointments with him any other way. It takes him 4-5 days to respond to email.
Dear sir.
I give you an "Incomplete" as an advisor and head of your department.
I need earplugs. I'm sick of my housemates voice.

Reminds me of the notes that murderers leave in magazine cut-out letters.
