well, everything has been quite in this part of Iraq, i think the shit should hit the fan in a week or two, it's like they save up all their bullets and bombs so they can have a week or so of sustained destruction. they're probably waiting until the elections. tonight I go outside the perimeter on a night time cleanup mission, unlike most of the time where we go out because some Iraqi blew himself and/or some of us all over the road, this time we go out to clean up all the debris on our stretch of highway from prior explosions. because the troops that regularly patrol out there are complaining that they can't tell what is trash and what is desquised bombs. so i hope that goes well.
