Yesterday I went to the Noordelijk Film Festival in Leeuwarden, Fr. A friend of mine worked there as a volunteer and because I hadn't seen her for a while we decided to go to a movie there
We saw The Cat Returns, an anime by Hiroyuki Morita, who works for the Ghibli company of the famous Hayao Miyazaki. It's about a girl who rescues a cat, and therefor is invited to the Kingdom of Cats.
I thought it was a good movie, but it isn't as good as Spirited Away or Princess Monokone. It's more western orientated and that's a pity.
I've heard good things about Coffee And Cigarettes (Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, Bill Murray, Steve Coogan, etc.), Herr Lehmann and Motorcycle Diaries. Unfortunatly I saw that the new Johnny Depp movie, Finding Neverland also played yesterday, but I didn't have the time to see it
