So I need some advice, I have a great job as far as income goes right? I really can't complain as far as that goes but I HATE WHAT I DO! I started my compliance profession working for a Casino Gaming Commission, now I work Compliance in the student loan industry?? How the fuck does that happen?? lol! Anyway, I keep having these thoughts about wanting to go back to the casino business, it is the only job I have ever had that I actually truly loved, had a passion for, wanted to learn as much as I could, mastered, moved up quickly, and looked forward to going to work everyday. I left because the guy I was dating at the time was the Executive Director of the Gaming Commission and it was a conflict of interest so we felt it would be the best thing for everybody if I looked for employment elsewhere, I have since then found a kick ass paying job, but FUCK I hate it with a passion, and I feel like I left the casino for nothing because we have been broken up now for almost two years. SO now that I have moved here to Oklahoma where Class III Gaming has just recently passed, I kind of see this as a window of opportunity to get into the industry here considering it is basically new, versus where I came from in California where Class III has been permitted fir years. The thing is I know that the wages here are significantly less than they are in California, and I still make California pay because I work for the same company I worked for when I was living there, I just do it remotely. So the biggest torment I have been having to deal with is, do O go back to the casino business where I was truly happy and take a pay cut or do I suck it up and deal with this crap, but not have to worry about money? I don't know, what would you do?
