"When a man lies, he murders some part of the world. These are the pale deaths of which men miscall their lives. All this I cannot bear to witness any longer. Cannot the kingdom of salvation take me home?"
True words were never more eloquently spoken/written.
Today is Friday, I am supposed to be golfing with my father in 4 to 5 1/2 hours, if I don't get some sleep, I am gonna be a wreck. I just finished watching the last of the movies I bought, with the exception of the two DVD movies. My DVD drive on my computer is acting up. I may have to hit it a few times with a sledgehammer (my favorite toy of destruction).
Goin back to work on Monday, means more crazy pharmacy stories for everyone to enjoy.....I just hope I remember how to use the computer at work still. I mean, fuck, 8 days off in a row, you tend to forget things.
Tomorrow is the start of the Clark County Fair up here in good ole Vancouver, Washington. Three Dog Night is performing, I might check them out...that is, IF I go. I am just waiting for some kickass cool band to actually perform there....but then again, it's a county fair, so I think we're stuck with old time rock bands and country musicians...if only Q-Prime would get off their asses and build the damn ampitheater they've been promising us now for the last 5 years...
I'm still waiting to buy the new Fozzy CD. Their last CD was rockin. For those who don't know, Fozzy is a band that consists of the members of Atlanta-based Stuck Mojo, and WWE Wrestler, Chris Jericho. They actually play some of these early 80's metal songs better than the original artists!!!
I keep hearing about Donnie Darko so I decided to look for it today on my movie spree...no luck....maybe I'll check out Suncoast at the mall....wait, that would mean I am becoming a....NOOOOOOOO NOT A MALLRAT!!!!
Tomorrow night, I get to sing karaoke...yay me...I mentioned this in the chat room earlier tonight. If you wanna check it out, and laugh at me, or compliment me....come to El Presidente in Vancouver. Take I-5 to the City Center (#2) exit. Stay in the right lane, and you're there....Drinks are pretty decent price also....$2 for a shot of tequilla, $2 for a bottle of Corona....$2.50 for a margarita for the ladies...and if you really want a drink, try the Conzuela....it's a water pitcher filled 3/4 of the way with rum, vodka, and tequilla....then they put some grenadine and grapefruit juice in..add a lemon wedge, lime wedge, and a cherry, then stick the straw right on...not bad for $8...I'm still the only person in that bar's history to drink 4 of those things in one night....along with 3 shots of Jack Daniels, 2 Jack and Cokes, 2 bottles of Miller Genuine Draft, and an A.M.F....and still walked outta there.
I think I've rambled enough now.....time to sleep, I hope...where's the Ambien vibes Dia????
I need em bad bad bad bad bad!!
