I guess now would be an opportune time for me to talk about my SG party experience on Thursday.
The people I wish to thank for meeting are as follows:
Anais - You were supercool to me when we talked for that brief bit. I wish I could've stayed longer to see you DJ, but certain circumstances led me to leave early. I do hope that I do get to meet you again soon, and hear you do some awesome DJing.
Veronica - Thank you for posting in my journal. You also were very cool to talk to, and made it easier for me to introduce myself to other people, since I am a very shy person offline. The Tribune article was full of B.S., BTW.
Eve - You are a sweetie, and very adorable. I had a lot of fun talking with you, and can't wait until your next set comes out.
Jayne - Thank you for giving me the SG Button to cheer me up, after I was having such a bad day/night. I wear that button to every place I go now (except work), and people ask me about it. I just tell them that a real supernice sweetheart gave it to me to make my night a lot better.
Donkey - You are truly and extrodinary person, even when you are drunk. I kind of wish I could've gotten to talk to you more, before I was told to leave by the bouncers (more on that a little later). I want to meet you, when you are sober and I am drunk. LOL
To the other people I met, and who's names I have forgotten (which I do apologize for that), you all were very cool to talk to and hang out with, even the guy who mentioned he was starting up and Extreme Tennis League here in Portland (if you do read this man, send me a line either here or on AIM, I am definately wanting to do that)....and whoever told me I couldn't bang my head on the brick wall a few times to get my aggressions out, thank you for telling me not to, my night would've been a lot worse if I did.
To the people I didn't get to meet (Marla, Dia, O, s5), I wish I could've met you guys. I was really looking forward to meeting all of you that night, even if O wanted to slap the living hell out of me for my music tastes (hehehe).
Now, to the reason why I left early.....Well, it appears that Dante's didn't like me mentioning the word "drugs." I am sorry, but it's what I do for a living. I dispense medications. That's my job, I basically hold people's lives in my hands. The two bouncers did not even let me explain my side of the story at all. One even went as far as to tell me to empty out my pockets to prove that I didn't have anything on me! They told me I was 86'd. I said, "cool. Give me my bag and hat, and I am outta here..." The bouncer at the door said, "They are doing coat searches, why would you leave it here!!!!" Maybe because I asked the first guy at the door if I could leave it there???? Who knows. I just know that I won't be going back to Dante's for a very, VERY long time.
Well, enough about that rambling. 20 more days until I am down in the Bay Area. Solisis, man, I will let you know when I am getting into town. It looks like I am gonna catch a flight from PDX to Oakland (seems to be a lot cheaper that way).
Well, until next time, this has been another edition of "Ramblings from Under the University of Michigan Hat."
And one more thing, for those who did meet me, I told you that I looked like a grown-up Harry Potter.
heheh

I was asking everybody where you were too!!! I even asked Jayne where you were when I made my way to the merch booth, and she pointed near the door, and I still didn't see you.
I couldn't believe how strict they are in Portland. The back door bouncer wouldn't let me on the sidewalk with a plastic cup of water, but it wa OK for their bartender to lob a piece of ice at MacBastards head and give him a big fucking welt. Oh well, what can you do.
