So yesterday I found out my tripod and I have parted ways somewhere since
October... So i'm in the market for a new tripod. As I type this I'll
hitting craigslist to see what's available 2nd hand. Jan/Feb is a good time
to buy stuff if you have the cash. People are offloading xmas stuff for a
little extra cash to pay for the Xmas bills. Technically I have $221 left in
my January budget since I haven't yet ordered the items for project Alice.
Incidentally project Alice is what I'm calling the "into the cave" project.


So here is the big question is should I spend the Jan budget on getting the
items for project Alice and a tripod or leave purchasing for next month and
spend the cash on hireling some one to model and pose?

I really do want to get the items for project Alice but I feel I should get
the ball rolling with some photos. I'm feeling a little rusty mentally and
it would be a fun way to make sure all the camera equip is still working.
