Ahhh...my favourite time of year....Halloween closely followed by Day of the Dead....

this year I will be carving pumpkins for my balcony to scare away the local youths and attract nice and fluffy spirits.....I will be drinking and celebrating with good friends....also planning a trip to the Crossbone Graveyard in Southwark to pay my respect to long gone ladies of the night...http://www.crossbones.org.uk/

Then some horror...

Anarchy....

It has been a weird experience living in London during the riots. Whilst the scenes form Tottenham were shocking they felt somewhat remote for anyone outside that area. The day after I was barely aware of it but horrified to find out that it had all kicked off over a shooting.

It all became very real on the Monday when I was at home...

I hope the rioting ends soon. Nothing good ever comes of group violence like that. There's never a black and white answer as to why it happens--just a lot of questions.

This is a very well-written blog, too. smile

The new tattoo is incredible--a bit like Bettie Page meets Mexican Day of the Dead. I highly approve. smile

Thanks guys glad you enjoyed. Things are all still calm here, hopefully the increased police presence is working and hopefully the governemnt are doing what needs to be done to keep this going after all the visiting police go home! perhaps it was jsut the big wake up call they needed?

did you get caught up at all Rosie? Cant remember if you are in the city?

Johnny, you hit the nail on the head! that was the very discription i gave to my tattooist when i asked him to design it!

Observations of 90's Teenhood..

Im pretty sure that every decade has its own guidelines to growing up. Being a teenager in the 80s must have been very different to being a teenager in the 90s. But what about it was different, was it just the clothes and music? Or is every teen the same no matter what the decade.

I dont know but i was...

Those who spent our childhood in the 80's and our adolescence in the 90s ... are indestructible!

If we survive these decades, we can survive anything: P

If Florence is up to no good, I don't want to be good. wink Especially with her.

I'm glad things are ok. As for decorating the den...hmm. Have any ideas?
dakotagrace:
hmmm well i think you should be as expressive of your likes as possible...i dont always hold with minimalism....your den should be like a big expression of your brain smile and if i see Flo again I'll send her your way wink xx
