There are days when I really really really wish it was possible to just haul off and clomp someone who deserves it.

I've been trying to get one of my students set up with some tutoring and found someone who could meet her to help with her writing -- but he's retired and is mostly available near the end of our school day. I want permission for him to come on campus and meet her in the library since she has no class last period.

What does my assistant principal say to the idea? "Won't help her anyway"

I nearly beat him over the head with a book.
