Oh man. Sad to say but methinks the GP people are more than a little unorganized with the parade stuffs. I haven't heard from the costume people in over a week and it's coming up soon. I don't know what to think.
In other news, I'm moving! Couldn't find a roommate to fill the void here. So, the lady and I are looking for a place in the Annex because I realized how absolutely beautiful it is. When I rode my bike through it the other day, the wind blowing through the trees actually sounded like a real forest. I know it's still in Toronto but my senses were pretty fooled until I got closer to Bloor where the incessant whistle blowing and car honking of soccer fans that was taking place for, like, the third day or something.
While we were riding back to our place in Little Portugal, var was almost hit in the face by someone waving a huge flag out of the passenger car window. It's all a little much, and what a rediculous waste of gas. It would be better if people stayed on foot for that sort of thing, I think.
Also, I will be starting a new job at a movie theatre one day or so per week (strictly for the perks). Free movies here I come! I'll have to make sure to take it easy on the popcorn. We'll see how long the job lasts. The best part is that I'll be working with my best friend from college.
AND!
As I'm writing this, I just got a call for a graphic design/print job! Wow.
TO OTHER JOB SEEKERS:
The CITY TV building is looking for help in shipping. It is a great way for people in broadcast or media production to get their foot in the door and meet many people working inside. Keep in mind that working in the building doesn't mean you can harass famous people for autographs and such. Normally, I would suggest bringing your resume to the shipping office just off the parking lot facing Queen Street, but there are preparations for the MMVA's right now. If you want to apply, bring your resume to one of the friendly and beautiful receptionists inside the front door and flash your prettiest smile.

I went to our Pride Fair Day here last Saturday (celebrating GLBT folk) - such a fun day!! Heaps of awesome bands and shows: karaoke tent and dog show, talkshow hosts, rides... just awesome. I was utterly exhausted after a huge day, but still managed to kick on.
And this Saturday night is an awesome fetish GLBT party so I'm incredibly excited!!
It's all go - hopefully the parade will sort itself out too...
