There has been laughing, tears, anger, disappointment, confusion and etc etc etc this week. I do not want any more. NO MORE!
I had my rowing regatta race day today. It was a great day. We had 3 races, 3 boats in each race.
The first race we came in second. This race was hard, I was so stuffed afterwards.
The second, we smashed the field and came first (obviously). It was a good feeling winning this race. We all got it together and it felt like our 4 weeks of training at 5am (3 days a week) was worth it.
The third race we would rather forget about. They put us in a boat that we had not rowed in before, and the worst part was that it was a wooden boat. This means that is was a lot heavier and harder for us to row in. So we came in third (last). It was a little disappointing that we didn't get a change to see if we could have improved from the second race (in the boat we had been training in and raced in for the first two rows.)
Looking forward to a good dinner, a little TV and the comfort of my room.

It's one of the reasons I left to Greg's for dinner last night, in case they kept going, I'd had enough!
