Currently aching after a gong-show wedding reception.
Which makes me start to ponder just how cliche one could make their wedding. I mean, a destination ceremony in Mexico a few weeks back, leading to a reception in a community gymnasium/hall yesterday. There were grey plastic folding chairs that compressed as you sat down, a 'toonie bar' for cheap drinking, and pretty much the whitest music imaginable. 'I will survive', 'I don't wanna lose your love tonight', 'livin on a prayer', 'Walk this way', 'YMCA', 'It's raining men'...
These will all be on my wedding reception VETO list.
Oh, and anything country.
The cake was good though.
