OK , so i've been away for a good 4-5 months but the land o' Dafunk has been going off. All kinds has gone down and mainly it's all been work work work. I've lost track of my real life as it has been sucked away to fuck knows where and been replaced with VIDEO/FILM/TV. For anyone who's interested here's a link to the last Music video that i worked on. I did the animating and compositingg for it and i'm pleased to say it's doing really well, has been voted video of the month by two industry mags and is currently on MTV2.
ADEM - Ringing in my ear
I'm going to be working on another video in the next couple of months for an industrial goth band (who's name i've clean forgot right now). This should be really cool as we're pushing a lot of boundries with this video and it will be an effects filled extravaganza. We are going to be looking for a few girls to cast in this so i will be posting to see who's interested closer to the time but this video will be on MTV for sure and should get a lot of coverage.
So apart form work the usual Rum filled high jinx have played a role and i've also had a girlfriend for the last 7 months. I can't stress enough just how fuckin uber amazin and cool she is - i'm mah-hoosivly in love. Unfortunatly she is in Vietnam at the moment on route back to Sydney to finnish her Masters so i'm missing her a lot. I've got a ticket booked for Easter and Anna has got loads lined up for us to do. I'm going to be out there for three weeks, 2 weeks of that will be hanging out in Sydney but we're going on a road trip for a week as well. We're goin to do some diving, a parachute jump and Anna is trying to sort out going in a shark cage with Great Whites -
FUUUUUCK!!! I'm really up for it cause i know it will be amazing but i know it's going to scare the living piss out of me.
The big game plan is my line of work is really highly sort after in Aus at the moment and my company is really respected worldwide so i'm going to take my showreel and go hard for a job. i've got loads of contacts there already so i'm going to line up some interviews for while i'm out there.
Man i so want out of this hole of a country. I want to surf every morning, skate to work, then do yoga in the evening, play frisbee on the beach with my dog and that'll be me sewn up, happy as larry......... AAAAAAAAHHHH

Man, i've just left the SGUK group. No one has insulted me or anything like that it's just every time i take a look i always come accross a load of cliquey, oppinionated load of bullshit. Frankly it annoys me reading some of the threads in there. I used to post in there when i first got on SG but after a while i started to get quite irrritated by the bullshit. To all my UK friends - this doesn't apply it's just a genral feeling. The fact that Nic has to keep repremanding the group says it all really. Fuck all that, i've got nothing to say in there.
Woah, that was negative but glad i got it off my chest.
