it's so utterly cold.
i love cold. i love living in a cold place. minnesota is a swell place, though i may be able to live in other cold places. due to global warning, i may have to move to alaska, as northern minnesota becomes a bit more like the plains of kansas. but for now, i enjoy it.
it is pretty bitterly fucking cold. over by my place, it is 25-30 below zero F, with a windchill of 55-60. wooo! it brings a transcendental hammering enlightenment, more real than any drug or religious ritual.
for the first time in 3 years or so, we've got some real snow. more snow in this month of january than most januaries in recorded history, i think it's #3. this is more how i remember my youth, snow up to my head then, and up to my waist or chest in my adulthood. i love it. it is fucking cold, but that is in my genes.
