My mom come to visit me for her vacations and we went to Guatavita's lake on Cundinamarca Colombia.
This is a historic lake that remember the legend of the Dorado.
500 years ago the natives "Muisca" made their ceremony to choose their new "Casique" or leader; afther many tests about spirituality and intelligence.
The natives covered the new "casique" with gold and just when the sun went he gave differents gifts for their gods.
During the colonization Spain, some mans stole the gold, the emeralds and they reduced the water with the intent to find more gold of the lake background.
Currently this is a protected lake and the town is so beautiful
