Zomg! An entry! *gasp*
So, as mentioned, I'm now living in Boston. It's been a long road to get here, considering how long I've wanted to live in Boston, but I was finally able to secure a job in small pharma in Cambridge that allowed me to finally get myself out here. I've been here since the beginning of July, but I still occasionally have a moment where I completely stop and think, "Wow... I live in Boston now!"
Work is good, though it's definitely not what I want to end up doing. This is definitely just a gig to do for a while until I can finish off a couple more degrees that will allow me to teach (and make less money--doh). I miss teaching fiercely, but there's not much I can do about it at this point.
One of the main reasons I moved out here was because I have friends in the area. However, it's not enough! I need to meet some more people around here! I need to get out more, etc. The friends I do have here, while great, are not particularly into going out to rock/metal clubs and stuff, which I miss terribly about the time I spent in Wales. Time to start networking!
Oh, also, I added a few more recent pictures and updated my horribly out of date profile.
