The Hobbit may have been the funniest movie I have ever seen. Andy Serkis better win something for reprising his role as Gollum.
Even though half the movie felt like it was dragging on, I was laughing my ass off the entire time. Only real problem I had with the movie was when *SPOILER* the Ring fell out and the camera focused on it for about five seconds. I get it the Ring is important...later, in the next three books. It's just a magic ring right now. Did no one else feel talked down to in that scene? Like we couldn't figure out that was The One Ring of Power.
Still, best movie of 2012. Martin Freeman was awesome, Ian McKellen killed it as Gandalf the Grey again, and the Dwarves kicked ass.
