My feet are covered in blisters. Serves me right for running a 5k in sneakers I was given -- used at the time -- by my cross-country coach when I was a freshman... in high school. I felt better doing this race this year over last year. My time was not great, but still a 1:20 improvement over last year. Ironically (considering the amount of exercise and shape I'm in now versus then) I felt a lot less comfortable as a distance runner -- I've been concentrating far more on strength and sprinting (which I have drastically improved) for ultimate and my sanity.
