Ok so things went great for a few days. We talked a lot. We got close and all that shit. Great I think I'm actually getting somewhere. We both agree to just wait and see what happens.
Now a wrench in the spokes. She comes out and tells me yesterday, "I don't think we would work at all. We are so different."
I let it pass for discussion later. Maybe she was just feeling down? I figure it might be one of a few things. The top ones are: 1. She is trying to let me down easy, because she doesn't have feelings for me like she thought she did. 2. She is trying to let herself down because she's afraid I'll fuck her over like all the other guys. 3. She seriously thinks we are incompatible (I don't see it that way but what do i know?) 4. She wants to test the waters about shit like that.

Talk to her more and ask her about how she feels you are in incompatible. If she really is convinced about that- I think just spend more time with her and talk and the incompatibility thing will prove itself. If you really suspect she was just saying that to cover up how she really feels then you really just need to confront (but in a nice, gentle, non-confrontational way) her and ask her about it. Be like "listen, I like you, I think we could be good together and I'm not going to screw you over and I just want you to be honest about what you really want."
If it turns out she doesn't like you then ehhh, you don't need her- have her as a friend. Sounds more like she's just being cautious though. Either way, ya need to talk to her. Best of luck to you and I hope everything works out.
