Hepatitis.
So, about 2 weeks ago I go to the clinic to get a wellness pannel done, That's where they check your blood for all kinds of nasty shit. I was worried about diabetes, it runs in my family after all. Boy was I way off.
I go in. They bring me into a little cell. They call it a room. It is a dank off white. All the tools for destruction are lined up on the walls, stethescopes, blood pressure things, thermometers, tongue holders. She reads a page in my chart and says, "Well your blood sugar is great, your cholesterol is good, but we found a slight elevation of something in your blood. Have you ever had contact with someone with Hepatits? Have you been vaccinated? ...."
They didn't tell me what the "something" is. They drew more blood. I should find out next week whether I have liver disease. How bad it might be. All that shit. They will probably suggest going to therapy.
The first thought that went through my head when she told me I had to be tested for hepatitis A through G, was "Fuck, they probably won't let me drink. And fuck Not many places will tattoos, or even pierce me,"
As always my priorities are as straight as an arrow.
