The other day at work, I convinced the guy who sits next to me that Jerry Orbach killed my grandmother. Here's a paraphrased excerpt:
Guy: Did you hear Jerry Orbach is leaving Law and Order?
Me: Ya? Who gives a shit?
Guy: Dood, I love that guy, he's hilarious!
Me: Fucker killed my grandmother.
Guy: ...(surreptitiously looks over at me)
Guy: Dood, no way.
Me: Ya... he hit her with his car... died instantly...
It was about thirty seconds before I let him off the hook.
This was mostly funny because I do it to him all the time, and he always falls for it. God, I love gullible people, they're so fun to play with.
