As for taking pics, hmmm, most people I know have friends who help them out, but I know that there are "SG photographers" all over the US. Perhaps check the archives of the boards, or the photography group, or email Missy? Or go to SG Hopefuls, SG Boys, etc. and find someone's set that you like, then email them about it...

Private sector is better in my opinion. Can you do your same job, working for the government, but as a civvy? I have a couple of friends at the Pentagon who took this approach... You'd make more $$$...

or much worse) just for the job aspect. If there are no other reasons holding you, then I would say go. You can get any number of good jobs as a civilian. My brothers are all veterans and they got good jobs just getting out. My brother-in-law became a police officer after he didn't get his staff sargeant promotion in the Marines. If you're coming up for reinlistment and you are doubting whether you should, esp. w/the idea of being shipped out to Iraq on top of all the rest- I'd definitely consider my options, you know. Well, keep me updated. Take care.

I just found out today that I might have to go to the middle east! That would really suck...Oh well just have to wait and see, I guess!
