My Blue Velvet Life. I call this entry, sick F**ck that I am or Run around Sue, and its probably best understood simultaneously listening to this number, snapping your fingers to the beat and thinking about the rhythms in terms of math and pure algorithms of code bouncing in time. Also, this isn't the version of Run Around Sue that I want, (the version for me is more raw with a stronger bass beat) but as everything in life, this'll have to do for this round:
Run Around Sue
First, since my sex bomb electrical engineer assistant quit on me for reasons I still do not fully comprehend, my main contact with women in Miami has been this sixty five year old programmer at my work, Lynn, I call her the ancient programmer and yes she has more than enough balls to run with the boys. I'd also say our communication rhythms are tenuous at best but she's also a Ph.D. who discarded the whole teaching thing and then went into the high end of implementation, large info systems and programming so she's comes about 20% to even coming close to getting me, and that's closer than anyone I think in Miami except I'll say this girl, lets just call her, the spanker who showed up from Boston yesterday for lunch.
Lunch: the spanker says (and she's right). there's two kinds of people who code, shoemakers and plumbers and your a plumber and then she tells me about this guy we both know and she says he's a shoemaker and I say, that guy makes one g**d**m"quality shoe!" To which she responds "Qualite Etalian Leatha!" and she's right. To round this out, I don't think the spankers exactly right, I'm also a shoemaker and the shoe fits but this machine is just preparing to go into gear as in training season. And just to not keep the people waiting, no I have no interest in spanking but the spanker loves to be spanked and even broadcast it on tv - I've never spanked her and I don't think I will and never watch tv. lol. No offence to the spanker if she ever reads this, but spanking, its just not this boys thing. Sendin' all my friends love to the spanker!! lol.
Next. I took out J.R.Pierce's "Symbols, Signals and Noise", a semi-classic text of Information Science, and noticed in Miami I'm about the 12th person since 1966 that's taken this book out for leisure reading. Sick F***k that I am. Strangely, I'm gonna ride through that sexy juicy mama, cause I can see its real high end quality stuff and seems to have a lot of juice left in it even though it was written in 1961. And even from a cursory, I've noticed all the big boys piping in early early (i.e. Shannon, Chomsky, Minsky, Mandelbrot - the last one just puts a sloppy salivating smile on my face - transdisiplinary Fractal man I found you in your early lean still full head of hair days, you sexy ass French math boy!!!!)
Next: Cars in Gear. About my loss of desire to communicate with most people on a social level, well its resulted in a total focus on the high end of code and implementation. I mean, I'm not doing it fully, but when I do, insane, but its also like putting a very very expensive sports car into gear saying "Let's drop the bottom out (the bottom being conventional reality) and see what this baby can do" - and I've done it before in New Yawk (shout out !) slowly getting ready. Rolling da dice again. Hey, and I'm on a different wavelength so why should I fight it.
Finally, I am still thinking about the bombshell electric engineer that quit on me and then dropped out of a lot of other things. I knew she totally hated my guts probably still does but I think I could have showed her a few tricks - she was good - I'm still kinda interested - dog that I am - synthesis. The mechano set. Making shit work.
G***d**m, it works!!!!
Houston, we have lift off.
