Time for an update, although things have been pretty quiet round these parts lately.
I've just spent the last two afternoons reinstalling WindowsXP and some of the other programs that I use, yawn!
I contracted a virus/adware thing, Spybot S+D wasn't removing it and Prevx home wasn't quite stopping it, but that was partly my fault
It's all fixed now
There is a Burlesque Night on in Bristol tomorrow night and some of the SG's, October, Tsui, Felidae and Nadine, are going to be doing some, along with Kitty Klaw and Miss Indigo Blue.
That is quite a line up, unfortunately the venues web site says the tickets are selling out fast and the place only holds sixty people
(It's a converted dutch barge.)
I might take a chance and go over really early, doors open at six, but the entertainment doesn't start until nine thirty!
The trouble is I can't really drink as I'll be riding my motorbike over from Bath, a few beers might've eased the long wait, we'll see
28th update.....
I don't think I'll be going now, I'm a bit pissed off (only a bit, mind you) because SGUK has just removed me from the group, for not participating enough I guess. Besides, the chances of getting in to the event look rather slim.
I do actually post in the group, but it wasn't really made clear how much posting was required to remain a member. My one or two posts a week was obviously not enough.
It's usually the same dozen or so people participating in jovial banter anyway, which means lots of the threads go completely off topic, and they wonder why other people don't join in.
Never mind eh, I don't think I'll miss being a member too much
A friends girlfriend is having a party tomorrow night, so I'll go and let my remaining hair down there.
