It was my day off too
Well it's hot for England, 27C, pleasantly warm really, we're just not acclimatised to it. Probably won't get the chance as it's back to 19C tomorrow, oh well.
Supergrass were alright the other night, actually they were really good. It's surprising how much more rock'n'roll some bands sound playing live and loud
The Spiegel tent will be a cool venue to go to (I'm seeing John Otway there on Sunday as part of the Fringe festival), it's basically like a circus big top, but with wooden and stained glass panels around the sides and mirrors inside etc etc. There are only a few of them left, they were built in Austria, or thereabouts around the 1920's.
That's enough of the history lesson......
I ordered a camera from a company on the web on Wednesday, expecting it to arrive today, but it's out of stock
Only heaven knows when new stock will arrive, they say a week or two, but I suspect that's optimistic. I could've cancelled the order and tried somewhere else, but it seems to be sold out almost everywhere.
The Panasonic Lumix dmc-fz5, a really fine piece of kit.
As long as I've got it for Glastonbury I won't mind too much.
