The opening night of the Bath International Music Festival was a bit lame, it didn't help that it had been raining really hard all afternoon.
Even the firework display was a little lacking, it was much further away than last time so you couldn't feel the shock waves. I also suspect the budget had been cut a bit as the display was just less full on.
Anyway, I managed to bump into a few friends and get fairly tipsy Though not too tipsy, as I was working on Saturday.

Preparations for the Glastonbury campsite are well under way. I had to help my friend move a few sofas to his storage unit, we usually take a few to put around the camp fire, we like to be comfortable whilst we're there. He has even built a wood burning shower for us to use.

Supergrass are playing at Bath Pavilion tomorrow night. I'm going with some people from work, it ought to be a good night out.
On Sunday John Otway is playing at the Fringe Festival in the Spiegeltent, now that will be a fun night
