I'm just coming to the end of a lovely long weekend off.
Every six weeks I get Saturday/Sunday/Monday off, it's just like having a bank holiday weekend, but more often, with less people about.
Unfortunately I'm feeling a tad rough today, mainly due to all of the alcohol consumed yesterday, and probably the previous two evenings.
The trouble is, all my friends drink faster than me, perhaps it would be sensible to accept this and not try to keep up with them.
The job at Glastonbury festival has finally been confirmed, yay
It means I'll have to get on site by Monday or Tuesday to help set up fire lanes etc in the Circus/Theatre backstage area. Once all of the performers etc are parked up and camped safely, usually by Thursday evening, we're free to enjoy the festival, which doesn't really start until Friday, cool or what?.
The latest Garbage album is still doing it for me, that is one band that I will definitely see at the festival, hopefully I'll have some decent photos to show you. I say hopefully because getting close enough to the stage to take decent photos can be a bit of a mission, especially later on in the day.
Whilst I'm on the subject of Garbage, they've put a couple of new videos up on their website recently, one for 'Sex Is Not The Enemy' and the other one is for 'Bleed Like Me.' They are both extremely cool, go and take a look if you're a fan and haven't seen them yet.
Maybe those two tracks are going to be the next singles to be released, then again, maybe not.

well your first paragraph justifies my pub assertions.
That's very very cool about the glastonbury job!
I'm loving those videos. Still nothing will quite live up to the 'Only Happy When it Rains' video
