ARRGGHHH!! I went to the greatest show on earth monday night!!! Yeah I know its thursday and all but Gogol Bordello has rocked my world like no other. That band kicked my ass and made it impossible for any other live show to compare. Fuck them for that. It reached a point where I could barely clap because my hands were numb and my legs...

I always forget about this site. So begins the update....PB Block party was horible (mini-skirt hoes and shirtless bros), Van Helsing was terrible, I have no money, I had the pleasure of seeing the Red Sparrows in Silverlake last tuesday which was amazing (members of Neurosis and Isis), I saw my first rattle snake in its natural environment and I shaved my head again ('cept...

Hello, I haven't checked this site out in a sec, I too forgot about it. I just saw Mogwai at Coachella and they were amazing. You have great taste in music and literature, I am sure its the same with art I just don't recognize any of the artist you listed. You are also very cute, but I hope you don't drive a hummer. smile

San Francisco is beautiful. Nine hours of driving is not. I didnt really see anything special in the city, I just ran around Golden Gate Park after the book fair. Then drove up to Santa Rosa to camp on some beach.
I bought a bunch a records while I was there so now Im broke, and my car window has bug juice all over it....

I got bord last night and ended up drawing on my only white t-shirt. Which makes me want to go out and buy more white t-shirts to draw on. And more sharpies. I need to get a present for a birthday party tonight, and tickets for next weeks show. And make a new mix tape for my car. And eat breakfast and just wake the...

I watched The Cradle Will Rock the other night. I was really impressed. The Saturday night pink party was pretty impressive too, but if you wernt there I might as well not talk about it. Im reading The Pig That Sang to the Moon. At first I was all about it.....but its getting old. It has made me interested in visiting an farm santuary though....

The last time I read a book that involved the word "pig", it was "The Jungle." I have since not eaten hot dogs. Or much meat for that matter.

I love Snake Pit. Its fun to dig out all the shit Ive collected over the years from Comic Con. It makes me feel like a dork. I painted my fingernails today for the first time in probably a year. Dark green was the color in the botttle, but right now it looks like shimmery lime vomit. And I have no polish remover. My friend...

Zena Geva. RAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHHH. I have no idea what theyre singing. But whenever I listen to them it makes me happy. It reminds me of someone I love, that loves them. I guess thats a not really a weird reason to like a band. Some have beautiful lyrics, others beautiful music. Some bands make me want to paint on canvas, others a *** car. And some...

Yeah, so I finally watched the Blood Brothers DVD I recieved for christmas. Fruitily Delicious (if that counts as a description). My friend keeps playing Old Man Gloom and each time Im like "wow - who the fuck is this!!" and this has been going on for almost a year now. Time to get a cd. I went to the Flame Saturday with a friend...

As for saturday night, Doormouse is god. IDM vs tables. IDM. I like DJs that perform and create during a set. However, on another subject...I dont like places that put sour cream in their guacamole, or cheese in a Bean burrito. I might be shelling out money for Coachella this year (a first). Besides that, my calender is revolving around my trip to San Fran...

I went to the Opeth show last night, and everything Ive listened to today feels so weak in comparison. So I went out and bought a Neurosis tape (from '93) and a John Hurt cd to balance it all out. I watched the sunset and ran into an old friend in OB.
No matter how many people Im surrounded by, or friends, Im always lonely....

There's a difference between alone and lonely.

Down in OB huh? That's my hood.
I'm a "sunset cliffs" blood.

You've checked out the "the black" no doubt. They have some good books.
torihoney:
it's odd sometimes to feel lonely when surrounded by others, but i totally agree with you on that point. it's so hard to truly connect with others that sometimes, and that can be very alienating. books are your friends, and music will always color every emotion you have with different nuances and shades.

Ive been wasting my free putting all my cds onto tape so I can listen to them in the car. I didnt realize how many favorite songs I had until I put them all on tape. Each time something plays Im saying "fuck yeah! this is my favorite song" and scream along until the next one comes on and it starts all over again. 90...

A short plaid skirt and knee high socks fixed the relationship dilemma. My tape player in my car is fixed now too. I broke out an old mix tape that had Suicidal Tendencies, some Ska Parade, and Punk-O-Rama on it. I remember buying all the sampler cds for under 4 bucks back in the day. I also found a new R.A.W tape I hadnt listened...
