I've been living in St. Louis for 3 weeks now, almost 4. It's been a great ride. It seems like everyday while I'm jobhunting on monster that the Blues Brothers is on, which is fucking badass. That movie is so awesome.
Anyway, I've been spending as much time with my girl as possible. She's going to school about 2 and a half hours away and it's difficult to find time to spend with her because she's so busy with her last year of undergrad study. But everything is going great, I'm living with some great friends right now and still looking for a job... another couple weeks and I'm going to apply at a few jobs I have always considered backup jobs (pizza making/delivery, customer service) and as much as I want to, I can't stay jobless and be "the guy on the couch" at my friends house forever.
It's been a wild fuckin' ride, but it's gotta end sometime.
St. Louis is such a beautiful city, first day I showed up there was snow. Now there's just about 55 degree weather, which is really nice! Anyway, wish me luck.
