here's an update in my life for anyone who cares:
1) I work 24 hours a week or less at a job where I get treated like shit by my manager, who coincidentally treates everyone like shit.
2) I almost had a mental breakdown, I certainly was close but my girl pulled me through and let me know things weren't so bad and that she'd always love me... thank you, sweetie. You know I'll always love you as well.
3) I've picked up more hours at my pizza delivery job to make up for my wages lost at my 'day job'. I've had quite a few good days lately. I made $92 one night in tips, for 6 hours worth of deliveries. The next night I made $74 tips in about 5 hours. Not too shabby if I do say so myself.
4) I've begun the great job hunt, looking at online postings for work at either the city, county or state level here.
5) I'm getting closer to moving to St. Louis, MO... I'm saving as much cash as I can, if I keep having good nights, I'll be there in no time. Only thing right now that's keeping me here is my school. Once I finish this semester I think I'm going to move back east.
6) Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects suck ass.
7) I've been cutting back on my alcohol consumption, not really a conscious choice, just haven't had the time, money, energy or even wantingness to drink as much.
8) My best friend Sean, in St. Louis, is turning 21 on October 20th and I want to visit, but unfortunately can't for reasons I don't feel like going into.
9) I'm going to a concert in Carmel by the Sea on Saturday with my friend Kevin. We're going to see the Kingston Trio. Obey the Trio.
10) I'm looking into getting a notebook because I feel I've progressed to the point where I need the constant connection, plus my online course needs special software and I hate that the only place I can do my homework is at the 'high tech' lab at my college or at home (finally got it installed at home, that software is shit.) So I'm going to be going with the not so obvious choice of a Thinkpad T43. I'm not sure about the specs yet, mainly because I don't want to pay for the higher res screen, but oh do I want it. I'm also going to be upgrading the HDD and Memory myself because I can save about $250 that way.
Anyway, I'm out, going to get back to doing nothing at work becuase there's frickin' nothing to do.
