Since Tuesday I've been helping a blind man in the office. He's taking a series of classes, and since his computer isn't working and we aren't equipped to provide adequate braile devices, I'm having to sit next to him seven hours a day to read to him from his textbook.
I'm not complaining...far from it! I enjoy spending time with him. He's extrordinarily intelligent...he can run numbers in his head that would take me ten minutes with a pen and paper.
I can't imagine walking through life without being able to see, but Dan always has a smile on his face.
