For those of you who doubt my power:
As I said in my last entry, every time I go to California, there is an earthquake a few weeks later. Well, I got back on the 6th, and a few days ago there was a 6.0+ south of San Fransisco. Fear me.
As I said before, people are idiots...and here are two examples. One guy made a comment about my T-Shirt the other day...I have it here in front of me, so I'll describe it to you. It has fairly cool picture on it and beneath it it says: "Origins International Game expo 2004, Columbus Ohio" The guy stares at it for aa few seconds and says: "Thats a cool shirt, where did you get it?"
Driving Downtown on delivery, I was driving down the leftmost lane on a one way street, I approached a red light that turned green before I slowed down, and the genius in the center lane decided he wanted to turn left at the intersection. Now why anyone would want a loaded 8 ton delivery truck to plow into the drivers side door of his Honda Civic at 25 mph is anyones guess, but as far as I could tell, that was his goal. Had i time to think, I might have oblidged him, but my ninja-like video game reflexes took over and I slammed on the breaks and the horn at the same time. As he heard the horn, his idiot reflexes took over. Did he swerve to avoid me or try to accelerate out of the way when I honked? Of course not, he came to a complete stop right in front of me. I skidded to a stop a mere 1-3 inches away from his door, and without a look or anything, the guy takes off. If only my reflexes were a bit slower...
WOHOO, I finally get to work 8 hour shifts again. working 10 hours a day, 5 days a week since June was starting to get on my nerves...but my paycheck liked it...now I have to get used to not having as much extra money...
Special thanks to QUIETANTRUM for wishing me a happy birthday.
quote of the day:
"I never partake in the 'herbal essence' unless I'm with Cheech. Then its kind of like hanging out with Mickey Mantle and him saying 'Hey, you want to grab your glove and play catch?'"
